Tracklander's Warranty Terms

This warranty is provided by Jaram Fleet Equipment trading as (‘Tracklander’) of 12 Railway Parade, Welshpool WA 6106.

Our products are accompanied by guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law, ensuring entitlement to replacement, refund, or compensation for major failures and foreseeable loss or damage. Additionally, goods failing to meet acceptable quality standards qualify for repair or replacement.

The benefits conferred by Tracklander under this warranty supplement other legal rights and remedies pertaining to the goods.

Subject to the conditions herein, Tracklander warrants the following products manufactured by Tracklander to be free from manufacturing defects in materials or workmanship for the following periods from the date of purchase (each a ‘Warranty Period’):

5 years for all Roof Rack Platforms and Accessories Manufactured by Tracklander and Branded as Tracklander;

Requirements for Warranty Claims

To initiate a warranty claim, you must return the defective product or components to the original place of purchase along with the original proof of purchase or receipt. Warranty claims must be made within 15 days of the Warranty Period ending. The cost of returning defective products or components to the place of purchase will be borne by the claimant.

Remedies

In the event of a defect within the specified timeframes, Tracklander will, upon notification of the warranty claim, repair or replace any defective product or component at no cost for parts or labor.

Conditions and Exclusions

This warranty does not extend to:

Any individual other than the original retail customer or recipient, and is non-transferable.

Defects in materials or workmanship that were reasonably detectable upon inspection before purchase, or explicitly brought to the purchaser’s attention pre-purchase.

Failures due to inadequate maintenance or failure to comply with fitting instructions provided by Tracklander. It is incumbent upon the customer to maintain the product adequately. Tracklander recommends regular removal of the product from the vehicle for cleaning and during extended periods of non-use. Components subject to normal wear, degradation, or exposure to the elements should be periodically inspected and replaced with Tracklander parts as necessary.

Defects, loss, or damage resulting from fitting the product to an incompatible vehicle, external conditions beyond Tracklander’s control, misuse, neglect, accidents, attachment of non-Tracklander accessories, overloading, incorrect assembly, or improper fitment by the purchaser, retailer, or any third party.

Defects or damage resulting from modifications to the vehicle or product, or failure to properly secure cargo as recommended by Tracklander.

Consequential or incidental damage, including but not limited to damage to vehicles, cargo, or any other person or property.
