Warranty Policy
Effective Date: 29 July 2025
Tracklander Pty Ltd (ABN 58 009 418 759) is committed to delivering quality 4WD roof rack systems and accessories. We back our products with a 5-year manufacturer’s warranty against defects in materials and workmanship, under normal use and conditions.
1. Warranty Coverage
This warranty applies to Tracklander products purchased directly from our website or an authorised Australian reseller.
- Warranty period: 5 years from date of original purchase
- Covers manufacturing defects in materials or workmanship
- Applies to products used as intended under normal conditions
- Is limited to the original purchaser and is non-transferable
2. What’s Not Covered
The warranty does not apply if damage or failure is due to:
- Improper installation or use outside intended purposes
- Overloading or exceeding specified weight limits
- Modifications or use of non-approved accessories
- General wear and tear, accidents, or misuse
- Corrosion or cosmetic changes caused by the environment
3. Claim Requirements
To make a claim, you will need to:
- Provide proof of purchase (e.g. receipt or invoice)
- Submit a claim within 15 days of discovering the fault
- Return the item to the original place of purchase (if required)
The Customer is responsible for any shipping costs involved in returning items for assessment unless otherwise agreed.
4. Our Commitment
If your product is found to be faulty under this warranty, Tracklander will at its discretion:
- Repair the product
- Replace the product with the same or a comparable model
- Refund the original purchase price
5. International Purchases
Products purchased through international resellers or distributors are not covered under Tracklander’s direct warranty process. Please contact your place of purchase for any claims, returns or repairs.
6. Your Rights Under Australian Consumer Law
This warranty is in addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have goods repaired or replaced if they fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
